Outside the Night Market
I can’t believe that I was in Taipei last weekend! It feels like ages and ages ago.
Although I’m not a great fan of blur (or Blur for that matter), I think it conveys the idea of streaming masses of people quite well.
Here are few more odd knick-knacks I found here and there.

From the Nightmarket

Apparently these are a famous type of Taiwanese sausage

I love stuff like this - Sooo cute!

Sponge Bob Saquare Pants Keyrings

Unicycles at TES
At the conference over the weekend, I noticed unicycles. It seems that they are very popular with the German Department. I’m trying to imagine what my class would be like on unicycles. Hmm

Taipei 101
Over the weekend I was in Taipei for the Fobissea ICT JAW Conference – hosted by Taipei European School (well done David Devey!).
I had a somewhat curious time of it because I spent quite a lot of time with someone I knew quite well in another place. We had shared an apartment when I lived in London – which is where I am from – and now we were in Taipei – which is where she is from.
This picture was a quick grab through a minibus window on my way back from the conference.
