Smiling Motorcyclists

Family on a Motorcycle
After work I sometimes go into the city to take pictures. It is very relaxing, just standing on a corner looking at the traffic, watching Vietnamese life buzzing past. If I have been cross or annoyed, my first few pictures are a bit jerky, but after a while things slowly come together.
Somebody somewhere should write a book about the Vietnamese and their motorcycles.

George - My Neighbour
I’ve noticed, nearly all the pictures I have posted have been out of doors, so I thought for a change I would post this one of my neighbour. Normally, he flies off when he sees me approach, but on this occasion he was obviously in the mood for recieving guests.

Whenever I walk into the city (along Tran Hung Dao), I am always curious about this place. I like the curious little chateaux/castleĀ on the first floor. If you didn’t look up you might miss it.

Wagons
Ok. Last night I trudged across the river to RMIT to watch the Loreto Fest 2010.
And I took lots of pictures. My main problem now is editing them all. I expect I’ll put most of them on my Flickr page if anyone wants to look at them.

Writing on a Lamp Post
I’m curious about why people write their “I love..” in public places. I keep meaning to find out the name of this location in the city. I don’t know much about it – other than it is popular with wedding photographers – and students. Perhaps there is the connection.
